CONRAD Amsterdam interior: start with the kitchen, design the whole.

The kitchen is a major choice in your new apartment. We design it together with the dining area, seating area, and storage space so that your budget and available square footage work for the entire interior.

Discuss your property

A kitchen quote is not yet a budget for a complete home. At CONRAD, it is wise to first determine the balance between the kitchen, furniture, and other finishes. This allows you to make focused choices without later discovering that an essential component has not been included.

According to project developer VORM, CONRAD in Amsterdam Overtoomse Veld consists of a building for sale and a rental building. The offer for sale comprises 63 homes. A kitchen is not included; the published completion forecast is early 2028. Your own purchased items determine the connections, finishes, and possibilities upon which we base the interior plan.

Which kitchen model leaves enough room for living?

An island is not the best solution in every apartment. We compare it with a wall arrangement or another layout and immediately draw the dining table into it. Walking space, opened appliances, and access to the balcony all count. The available connection points and ventilation requirements form the technical basis.

Your designer can accompany you to showrooms to compare materials and equipment. We start with your cooking habits: how much workspace do you use, which appliances are important, and what do you want to store out of sight? Then we choose fronts, worktops, and details. More about this guidance can be found on bespoke kitchens.

Also reserve space for what is not a kitchen

The total interior includes more than cabinets and a sofa. Think of flooring, wall finishes, lighting, curtains, wardrobe, and assembly. We make visible what is already included in the construction contract and what is still needed. With every choice, it remains clear which part of the available budget remains.

For a compact home, a well-arranged closet can be more important than extra loose furniture. In a larger apartment, the balance between different seating areas may require more attention. We take the location of your specific home into account regarding workspaces, screens, and window decorations, rather than providing the same lighting advice for all building numbers.

The right order between kitchen, floor, and finishes

We first coordinate connections and desired modifications with the responsible project party. Then we determine when measuring, preparation, and assembly are possible. The kitchen supplier and floor layer must know how their work connects; protecting already finished work is also part of the planning.

Rive Home can bring together design and agreed-upon finishing work, or provide a clear design for you to proceed with. Quotes distinguish between products, installation, and additional work. Changes are discussed before they are ordered or executed. We do not use a general completion forecast as a guaranteed start date for suppliers.

Start with these four components

  • The floor plan and installation drawing of your purchased home.
  • Your cooking preferences and a selection of desired equipment.
  • The finishes that the builder does and does not provide.
  • A budget for the complete interior, including execution.

Questions about your interior at CONRAD Amsterdam

Is a kitchen included at CONRAD?

VORM's current project information states that the owner-occupied homes are offered without a kitchen. Always check your own agreement and technical description for the exact scope of delivery.

Do you only design the kitchen?

That is possible, but we will examine its relationship with the rest of the home. You can opt for kitchen guidance or a broader interior plan including materials, furniture, and agreed-upon finishing.

Can you come along to a showroom?

Yes, within the agreed-upon scope. We compare layout, materials, equipment, and costs using the complete interior design plan as a starting point.
