Nispen Laren: interior design for your next home

Moving to an apartment does not mean you have to say goodbye to your own style. We design an interior in which familiar pieces, new wishes, and comfortable daily use come together.

Discuss your property

What would you like to take from your current home, and what would you like to be different? This is a more productive starting point than replacing all your furniture at once. For a residence in Nispen, we examine how to give your personal collection, daily rituals, and desired space for guests a new place.

The official project site for Nispen Laren describes ten apartments in three buildings surrounding a park garden, with completion expected in 2027. The residences vary in size and layout. We therefore use your specific sales drawing and technical specifications as a benchmark, rather than the possibilities of the largest penthouse.

A new home requires new proportions

A table that looks modest in a villa can define the entire living space in an apartment. We draw important furniture to scale and compare multiple layouts. The space required to use a chair or walk to the terrace counts, not just the dimensions of the piece itself.

The balance between private and guest areas also changes. Where can guests stay comfortably without disturbing your daily peace? Can a workspace also serve as a guest room? The kitchen, dining table, and seating area are designed together so that the apartment feels logical rather than a collection of separate rooms.

Art and familiar furniture as a starting point

We catalog paintings, objects, books, and furniture that hold meaning for you. A quiet background can enhance a piece of art, while an overly cluttered wall can diminish it. Light, sightlines, and materials are adjusted accordingly. We request technical specifications for mounting and lighting.

Not everything needs to have its definitive spot immediately. We can position the most important pieces first and then supplement them with fabrics, a new piece of seating, or lighting. During showroom visits, we assess scale and comfort in person. The selection remains recognizable as your interior, not a complete copy of a showroom.

Custom work that simplifies daily life

Storage begins with what needs to go inside. We distinguish between daily use, seasonal items, and objects you wish to display. A wardrobe in the entrance requires a different interior than a cabinet for dinnerware. Handles, opening directions, accessibility, and available walkway space are all incorporated into the design.

We link material choices to maintenance and use. A beautiful surface must also suit the way you cook, host, and clean. We compare samples with your other choices. Any adjustments to the kitchen or bathroom remain subject to project agreements and confirmed technical possibilities.

Overview from initial sketch to interior design

Rive Home can manage design, selection, and agreed-upon realization. We clarify what falls within the scope, which elements are quoted separately, and when a decision is required. Deliveries and installation follow the confirmed key handover and building regulations, not just the general completion forecast.

  • Bring your floor plan and finish selections.
  • Photograph the furniture and art you want to keep, including dimensions.
  • Identify what functions poorly in your current home.
  • Indicate which rooms and guidance have priority.

Questions about your interior in Nispen Laren

Can my existing interior be moved to Nispen?

Yes, we will start with a selection and sizing of your furniture and art. After that, we will explore suitable layouts and determine which additions are truly necessary.

Does the design need to include all rooms immediately?

No. We can start with the main living areas and elaborate further later on. However, we will look at the cohesion so that choices for, for example, flooring and lighting do not conflict with each other.

Do you also provide assistance with choices in showrooms?

Yes, within the agreed-upon guidance. Your designer will help you compare materials, furniture, and comfort, and will relate your choices back to the layout and budget.
