Interior design for The Dwight, The Hague: start with the layout
A spacious floor plan shows a lot, but not yet how you will live in it. We explore the possibilities of your apartment before the kitchen, furniture, and finishes are chosen independently of one another.
Which home suits your life, and which layout makes the most of it? At The Dwight, an early layout study can help you look beyond just square metres. The balance between entertaining, cooking, working, and sleeping determines how spacious an apartment truly feels.
The official website for The Dwight describes six villa apartments and a penthouse at Eisenhowerlaan 124 in The Hague. The announced start of sales is October 24, 2026. For layouts and included features, we use the current documents specific to your particular unit; a feature of the penthouse does not automatically apply to the apartments.

Compare living possibilities, not just surface area
A good comparison starts with placing the same furniture and functions on different drawings. Does your current dining table fit without making the route to the outside feel cramped? Is there a workspace you can close off? Does the living room remain comfortable when you have guests? We make the differences clear through alternative layouts drawn to scale.
We highlight what is fixed and what is still open to question. Omitting a wall or moving an electrical outlet is not presented as a certainty. The builder or relevant consultant must first confirm such possibilities. This way, a sketch remains a useful decision-making document rather than a promise that proves technically unfeasible.
An apartment for visitors and for yourself
The entrance, coat area, and guest access deserve as much attention as the main seating area. We examine whether visitors enter directly into the living space and whether the route to a toilet offers sufficient privacy. A guest room can serve as a quiet home office during the day, provided that storage and furniture choices are tailored accordingly.
In the living room, we select the desired proportions: a large dining table as the focal point or more space for an intimate seating area. A spacious apartment does not need large furniture everywhere. Differences in scale, light, and material can make areas recognizable without additional partition walls.
From a promising floor plan to a practical interior plan
Only after the layout is finalized do we further develop the kitchen, lighting, cabinetry, and colour palette. We assess samples together and can accompany you on showroom visits. In doing so, we discuss not only aesthetics but also usage, maintenance, and what a choice means for the total budget.
A decision list links every choice to a deadline and the responsible party. Which items will the builder provide? What needs to be done after the keys are handed over? What can be done later? For agreed-upon fit-outs, we provide transparency regarding scope, costs, and timeline. We schedule furnishing and installation around the handover date once that date has been confirmed.

Questions about your interior at The Dwight
Can you advise me before I choose an apartment?
Yes. With the available sales drawings, we can compare residential layouts and furniture arrangements. We evaluate interior possibilities, not the structural condition or financial purchase decision.
Can the floor plan be changed completely?
Not necessarily. We distinguish between design wishes and confirmed possibilities, and have changes reviewed by the responsible project team.
Can I bring existing furniture?
Absolutely. Dimensions, comfort and personal significance provide a good starting point. We combine suitable existing pieces with bespoke joinery or carefully chosen new additions.
