A completed master suite in Egmond aan Zee
In 2022, Rive Home provided the interior design and finishing for a high-end master suite with a bathroom in Egmond aan Zee. For this project, our contribution went beyond just the design: we also took on the execution of the fit-out.
That combination is important when you want to have a unique space created. It is not just about the initial idea, but also about the choices and finishes that turn that idea into reality.
Start with the space you want to improve
The entire home or a personal suite
An interior design question does not always have to concern an entire home. A bedroom and bathroom together can also form a fully-fledged design project. What should the space mean to you, how do you use it daily, and which elements do you want to keep? These questions determine the direction before choosing colors or products.
More than a collection of beautiful materials
A bathroom does not exist in isolation from the surrounding spaces. The transition to the bedroom, the position of a door, sightlines, and lighting all influence the experience. With interior advice, we examine this coherence. This creates a plan in which aesthetics and practical use reinforce each other.
From interior design to an executable plan
With a master suite or bathroom, aesthetic choices quickly touch upon implementation. A layout has consequences for connection points. Lighting requires choices in the right places. Materials must not only go together, but also be suitable for their application and maintenance.
That is why, for a more extensive interior design, we discuss not only the desired atmosphere but also the existing situation and what needs to be technically investigated. This coordination helps to make design choices in a timely manner, before the finishing phase begins. Our contribution in Egmond aan Zee in 2022 included both the design and the realized finishing.

Which process suits your plans?
Advice for targeted choices
Are you unsure about the layout, atmosphere, or finishing while much of the home can remain as it is? Then we focus the advice on the choices that are still open. We include existing furniture and materials in this. More about interior advice and material choices.
Design with finishing
Do you want to go beyond just a design? Then we will also discuss the finishing and the practical translation of the plan. We determine in advance which tasks Rive Home will undertake. The scope of the project, technical possibilities, planning, and budget form the starting point for this.
Questions about interior advice in Egmond aan Zee
Has Rive Home completed a project in Egmond aan Zee?
Yes. In 2022, we provided the interior design and finishing of a master suite with a bathroom in Egmond aan Zee. This project is highlighted on the project page.
Can I have just a bathroom or master suite designed?
Yes. We discuss which spaces are part of the assignment and which connections to the rest of the home are important. A targeted assignment for a bathroom or suite can be its own design process, without tackling the entire home.
What is useful to bring to an introductory meeting?
A floor plan, photos of the existing space, and your wishes are a good start. Also tell us what you want to keep, when you want to start, and what kind of budget you are thinking of. You do not need to have an elaborate plan or final material choices yet.
How are the costs for design and finishing determined?
The costs depend on the scope and elaboration of the design and the work required. We first map out the assignment. You will then receive a project quote that clearly states what is included. Design and finishing are tailored to your situation.
