Discuss your property in Linck

Bought a home in Linck in de Binck? Then, besides looking forward to your new address, the decision-making process begins. How will you arrange the space, which materials complement each other, and how will it soon truly become your home? Rive Home helps with a personalized interior design and can also manage the agreed-upon fit-out, furnishing, and project coordination.

Linck in de Binck is located on the Fokkerhaven in the Binckhorst area of The Hague. The project includes 77 residences, featuring lofts, apartments, and sky houses. The industrial architecture and the green inner spaces give the building its own character. Your interior doesn't have to be a standard answer to that. See the official project website of Linck in de Binck and the explanation on living in Linck.

No standard layout for a non-standard home

An interior plan starts here with your specific floor plan. The project website distinguishes between Nomad lofts, Urban green dwellings, Advanced residences, and Sky houses. The types vary in layout and location; the Sky houses involve living across two levels. Check the Linck home types for project descriptions. The following points represent our design approach, not a guarantee of what is technically possible in your home.

  • For an open loft: determining how sleeping, cooking, working, and relaxing can coexist without overcrowding the space.
  • For a home with a view of greenery: positioning furniture, window coverings, and lighting to keep the view and privacy in balance.
  • For a corner apartment: utilizing multiple angles of light while finding suitable spots for cabinets, a seating area, and screens.
  • For living across two levels: distributing functions and treating the staircase area, transitions, and furnishings per floor as a single design.

Your daily life provides direction. Do you often host guests, work from home, or are you looking for a quiet place to retreat? We draw furniture to scale and compare layouts before you make major purchases.

Maintaining openness without losing storage space or privacy

In an open-plan home, much is visible at once. A cabinet is then not just a place for belongings: it can also shield a workspace or define an entryway. We explore which functions can be combined and where a quiet, solid wall is needed.

Think of a continuous cabinet wall with a workspace that can be closed off, a low room divider, or a dining table that is not in the pathway to the outside. These are possible design directions, not fixed solutions for every specific unit number. Daylight, ventilation, utility connections, and available circulation space remain determining factors.

Sound also deserves attention. Textiles, rugs, and upholstered furniture can make a room feel less harsh. For specific acoustic requirements or structural partitions, we coordinate the solution with the appropriate specialist. A beautiful furniture plan is no substitute for a technical assessment.

An industrial building, an interior in your own style

You don't have to literally carry the building's aesthetic inside. Do you love raw materials and strong contrasts? Then wood, metal, and bold textures can form a starting point. If you are looking for more softness, we will instead explore refined wall finishes, warm colors, curtains, and tranquil furniture forms.

We create a cohesive material and color palette. Not only the floor and wall colors, but also cabinet fronts, countertops, upholstery, and window coverings are laid out together. Using real samples, we assess color, gloss, maintenance, and how materials react to daylight and evening light.

For Villa Noordwijk, we created a rugged industrial interior design in 2025 at the request of the residents. That project shows our design approach but is not a blueprint for your apartment. Your taste and the scale of your home determine the proposal for Linck.

Kitchen, bespoke joinery, and light as one whole

In an open living space, the kitchen is part of what you see from the seating area. That is why we look at the kitchen layout together with the dining table, cabinet space, and lighting. If the kitchen has already been chosen, we build upon that. If there are still options, we can help with kitchen layout, material selection, and appliances.

The same applies to custom cabinetry: we align this with your belongings, furniture positions, and building services. The lighting plan connects functional light for cooking or working with softer light in the seating area. We check which connection points exist and which changes are still possible before we finalize the plan.

You don't have to make these choices alone. We can visit showrooms and suppliers together to assess materials, furniture, and appliances. In advance, we agree on which visits and design details are part of your assignment.

From buyer choices to a practical interior plan

The right starting point is the current information for your specific unit number. Gather your sales drawing, technical description, and confirmed buyer choices. The project website contains Linck sales documents; check with the project organization which version applies to your home. We do not make any statements here regarding a final completion date or remaining modification possibilities.

  1. Before you get the keys: we organize wishes and choices that are still open. Changes to the building plan only become a starting point after the responsible party has confirmed them.
  2. After completion: we check the actual measurements and existing finishes. We align any work with the home and applicable building agreements.
  3. Before delivery: within our assignment, we plan the sequence of fit-out, bespoke joinery, and furniture. We include access, elevator dimensions, transport, and protection of common areas in this.

Also read when to hire a designer for new construction. Even if you already have the keys, we can start with the home as it currently stands.

Less to manage, without losing oversight

Rive Home can connect the design with fit-out and delivery. How extensive that supervision will be, we determine together. In the quote, we separate design and supervision from products, bespoke joinery, and implementation costs. We make visible which amounts are fixed and which choices are still estimates.

For additional work, we discuss the consequences for costs and planning. This way, it remains clear who is taking care of what, when you approve something, and which components fall outside the assignment. You can find the approach in our method of working. A suitable project price follows from your home and wishes, not from a general starting price.

Discussing your home in Linck

You don't need to have a fully developed mood board yet. For a first meeting, preferably bring:

  • Your unit number, floor plan, and current technical description.
  • The choices that have already been finalized and the decision deadlines you have received.
  • A few mood images and the furniture or art you wish to keep.
  • Your planning, budget direction, and questions about what you want to outsource.

From there, we will discuss which layout, design direction, and supervision fit you. With personal contact with a designer and clear agreements about the step from idea to implementation.

Questions about your interior at Linck in de Binck

Can Rive Home furnish my loft or apartment in Linck in de Binck?

Yes. We will discuss an interior design for your specific home type, including layout, material choices, colors, lighting, and furnishings. Finishing and realization can also be part of the project. We will define in advance which elements and level of guidance you wish to include.

Does my interior have to be industrial?

No. The architecture provides the framework, but your personal style is leading. We can enhance the industrial character or instead add warmth and contrast with wood, textiles, color, and refined finishes. We tailor the proposal to your floor plan and existing choices.

How do I create space for sleeping and working from home in an open loft?

We begin with your routines and draw up various layouts to scale. Furniture, custom-made items, or a dividing element can help delineate functions. We only assess a potential fixed partition wall after checking factors such as natural light, ventilation, and technical feasibility; such walls are not appropriate or permitted in every home.

When is the best time to start my interior design plan?

Please get in touch as soon as you have the floor plan and technical information. We can then compare your requirements with the buyer choices and deadlines. The project organization must confirm which modifications are still possible. We can also begin after the handover of the keys, starting from the existing finish.

Do you also assist with showroom visits and a clear budget?

Yes. Showroom and supplier visits can be part of the process. In our quote, we distinguish between design and guidance, products, custom work, and execution. We identify open choices and estimates and discuss changes before additional work is commissioned.

Is Rive Home involved in the development of Linck in de Binck?

No. Rive Home is not an official project partner and this page is not an announcement of a contract within Linck. We offer independent interior design and implementation guidance to individual buyers. For sales, completion, and the specifications of your home, the project organization is the point of contact.
