Hof van Baarn: interior design tailored to your home type

An apartment with everything on one floor requires different choices than a family home. Rive Home tailors your interior to your home type and stage of life, with an eye for comfort, items that stand the test of time, and clear priorities.

Discuss your property

Hof van Baarn is not a collection of identical homes. The official project information distinguishes between, among others, Corner Residences, Courtyard Houses, and Lane Residences. The level of completion also varies: according to the FAQ, the kitchen is only included with the Lane Residences. The mentioned completion in the third quarter of 2027 is an expectation. Always check the agreements for your own home.

That is why we start with three questions: which type have you purchased, what would you like to take from your current home, and which functions need to become more convenient? The answer determines where design guidance adds value.

Moving to a single floor or seeking more living space

Anyone moving from a larger house to an apartment often wants to keep familiar furniture without cluttering the new home. We draw the important pieces to scale and create a storage inventory. Daily items are given a different spot than seasonal items. We also discuss the height and accessibility of cabinets.

For a Courtyard House, we look at the cohesion between the entrance, kitchen, living space, and floors. A workspace or guest room should fit in with the rest of the household. In a compact Lane Residence, we look for combinations of functions, so that a dining or workspace does not take over the entire living room.

Design based on usage, not on the number of cabinets

If you are having a kitchen installed yourself, we design the layout before you choose fronts and appliances. We discuss accessibility, workspace, cleaning, and the route to the dining table. If a kitchen is already included, we examine how it connects to the desired layout and which project options are still available.

During a showroom visit, you can assess materials and appliances with your designer present. A bespoke kitchen is one possible solution, not a mandatory starting point. We compare functionality and the total proposal, including the necessary preparation and installation.

Accounting for construction, without locking in your taste

According to the project information, the single-family homes are largely built in CLT timber; the apartments have a different construction method. For fixed cabinets, wall objects, and fixings, we therefore use the technical data of your specific home. Possibilities are confirmed by the involved executive party before any work is commissioned.

An interior plan remains useful even after a buyer's deadline has passed. We separate choices that the builder can still process from interior design and finishing after completion. We coordinate lighting, window decorations, and furniture. There is no promise that closed construction options are still possible.

A clear path to your new home

We record the design development, guidance, and any realization in a clear assignment. Products and execution work are separately identifiable in the budget. Samples help make choices; final measurements and delivery times are checked before ordering.

  • Your home type, drawing, and technical description.
  • Measurements of the furniture you want to keep.
  • An overview of your kitchen agreements and confirmed options.
  • Your wishes for daily comfort, budget, and guidance.

Questions about your interior in Hof van Baarn

Do I need to arrange my own kitchen at Hof van Baarn?

That varies by property type. The project FAQ mentions an included kitchen for the lane houses, but not for the other new-build homes. We will check your specific agreement before we draw up a kitchen order.

Will you help me if I downsize?

Yes. We are looking into which furniture can be brought along, how much storage space is needed, and how daily functions can remain easily accessible. The goal is a suitable layout, not simply a smaller version of your current home.

Is it still worth designing after the deadline for additional work?

Yes. Even with fixed architectural choices, there is room for a well-considered interior design. We will discuss what is still possible regarding furniture, lighting, window coverings, and any work to be done after completion.
