Hyde Park Hoofddorp: interior design for your apartment
An apartment in Knightsbridge, Kensington or Notting Hill only becomes your home once the interior suits your life. Together with a designer, you make choices that are just right: from the initial furniture layout to the agreed-upon execution.
Bought a home in Hyde Park or already received the key? Start with what is actually present in your apartment. A new kitchen, bathroom, or floor does not necessarily have to be replaced. We connect the existing foundation to your furniture, daily routines, and personal taste.
Hyde Park is being developed per residential block. On March 27, 2026, Heddes announced that the phased handover of Knightsbridge had begun. The project website lists Kensington and Notting Hill as completed. For your own planning, the agreements for your own apartment take precedence. First the flow, then the sofa
In an apartment, cooking, dining, relaxing, and sometimes working share the same space. We draw your furniture to scale and check the route from the entrance to the kitchen and the balcony. A spacious sofa might fit well, but not if it makes the dining table or balcony door unusable. A workspace can, for example, be incorporated into a wall unit so that the living room remains calm even after working hours.
We discuss what you want to store, which furniture you are bringing, and how many guests you usually receive. This leads to a layout proposal with deliberate choices rather than a collection of random purchases. You will see which functions can coexist and where space needs to remain clear.
A new kitchen or working with the existing finishes
The Hyde Park FAQ mentions the possibility of delivery without a kitchen, but not of a shell bathroom. Always check what has actually been agreed upon for your home. If a kitchen has already been chosen, we will incorporate the fronts, worktop, and appliances into the material plan for the rest of the apartment.
If the kitchen is still free to be filled in, we design the layout based on cooking, storage, and dining together. We can visit showrooms together for material samples and appliances. With a bespoke kitchen, we also evaluate connections, ventilation, and available workspace before the proposal is ordered.
Already living there, or still waiting for handover?
In a completed apartment, the process starts with measuring and assessing the natural light. We look at fabrics, window treatments, and wall colors as a whole. For a home that is still being handed over, we use the current drawings and option lists; we verify final measurements on-site as soon as possible.
We plan the work around your living situation. We map out the assembly sequence, delivery times, and building access. Think of elevator dimensions, delivery moments, protection of communal areas, and agreements with the Homeowners' Association (VvE). This way, the practical side of your new interior is also discussed in advance.
What do you receive, and what does it cost?
We agree on which spaces and deliverables are part of the assignment: for example, a furniture floor plan, material and color plan, lighting proposal, and custom design details. Design and guidance are separate from furniture, products, and installation and finishing work. Non-confirmed amounts remain recognizable as estimates. We discuss any changes, including the impact on costs and scheduling, before you give your approval.
Bring this to the first meeting
- Your residential block, unit number, and latest floor plan.
- The already chosen kitchen, bathroom, floor, and any optional extras.
- Your moving period, budget guidelines, and furniture you are bringing.
- A few images that show your personal taste.
With that information, we determine whether you primarily need design guidance or if you also want us to take care of finishing, purchasing, and installation. Read more about our approach from design to completion.

Questions about your interior in Hyde Park
Do you also help residents of Kensington and Notting Hill?
Yes. This page is intended for buyers and residents in Hyde Park, not exclusively for Knightsbridge. For a property that is already occupied, we coordinate the work based on what is being retained and whether you wish to remain at home during the execution.
Should I replace the standard finish for a personalized interior?
No. Often, the difference lies specifically in the furniture layout, lighting, window treatments, and custom work. We first look at which existing elements fit and only propose replacements if they make sense within your wishes and budget.
Are you able to accommodate a fixed moving date?
We will check your requested date against the scope of work, access to the property, and current lead times. We will then establish a feasible schedule. Any delivery or completion dates that have not yet been confirmed will not be treated as guaranteed.
